Personal and Professional Development Programs

The Marine Corps’ Personal and Professional Development program delivers multiple services, including the Transition Readiness Program, the Marine For Life Network, Voluntary Education, Personal Financial Readiness, and Family Member Employment Assistance, to educate and enable Marines and their families to make better informed career and life decisions across a Marine’s military career - the Marine For Life Cycle.

These programs help Marines formulate educated and effective career goals, devise plans to achieve those goals, and pursue them both during and post-service. This lifecycle starts at accession and continues through their career and beyond. This holistic approach engages Marines and their families throughout their military careers and the transition to civilian life as productive citizens.
