TACTICAL DATA NETWORK DATA DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Description

The DDS-M provides data access and transport infrastructure needed to enable data transfer and packet switching services amongst users and data networks. Additional capabilities include sending/ receiving email, sharing files, providing storage, authenticating users and equipment, performing required IA functions, and Internet Protocol Video Teleconference access and transport. The DDS-M provides an extension of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network - Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (MCEN-S), and MCEN-Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) Internet Protocol Router Network (MCEN-N), as well as a coalition networking interfaces and access to strategic, supporting establishments and joint service components.
